Our Scope

Fitzroy Island Tours exists to compare one thing well: getting from Cairns to Fitzroy Island and back, with everything you can add around that crossing. The site spans bare ferry tickets, full-day trips with optional lunch and snorkel gear, guided snorkel safaris, glass-bottom boat packages, half-day morning and afternoon escapes, two-island days that pair Fitzroy with Green Island, and two-day Great Barrier Reef combinations built around a pontoon or dive day out of Cairns (start with Best Snorkelling Tour) (see Island Day Trips). Trips that never depart Cairns or never call at the island sit outside what we cover.

Accommodation at the resort, flights, car hire and general Cairns attractions sit outside what we do. We also skip standalone trips to other reef destinations, though the Fitzroy and Green Island day tour appears here because it fits the island-combo scope. Diving sits partly outside our focus too: we only include dive days tied to Fitzroy Island itineraries, not dive trips elsewhere on the reef.
